Please get in touch if you have any questions that are not answered in these FAQs – we are always happy to help!
Unfortunately yes! We are a reformer-focused community who are passionate about using this unique machine.
You do not need to have any other equipment, but we will be offering options using the box, a long foam roller, weights and a soft ball. It is also useful if you have some sticky mats for extra padding and safety during certain exercises. When everyone in class has a jumpboard, we will incorporate jumpboard activities.
Our live classes are currently held on Monday and Wednesdays, starting at 18:30 (6:30pm) GMT. If a different schedule is important for you or is stopping you joining our group, please do let us know so we can incorporate your feedback into our future plans.
If you are interested in joining the group, please get in touch. We will arrange a time for us to speak so you can ask any questions you have and we can make sure this group is right for you.
When you are ready to go ahead with membership we will:

As long as you have a reformer, it doesn’t matter what brand you have. We will discuss your individual set up during our initial 1:1 assessment where we can advise on your particular machine and exercise space.
All levels are welcome. We will be working towards various challenging moves in class, but there will always be easier options offered and you do not need to attempt anything you aren’t comfortable with.
It’s really important that we know about any injuries, health conditions or pregnancies that could affect your ability to participate in class. We will have time during our 1:1 introductory assessment for you to detail any issues and this information will always be treated in the strictest of confidence.
Based on information you provide, the instructor may decide not to allow you to participate in a class or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate in a class before allowing you to join.
All movement activities and physical exercise have inherent risks, but we will always offer guidance on how to make these exercises as safe as possible. As these classes are delivered online, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your equipment and physical environment is suitable for your participation in any class and your camera is set-up so that the instructor can clearly see you at all times throughout the class.
We will offer various options for making an exercise easier or more challenging – we encourage you to think about what works best for you at this moment. As this is a group class, instruction may not be tailored for your particular skill or ability level and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a class.
It’s extremely important that you notify the instructor if you experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if requested by the Instructor to do so.
If you are taking part in a recorded session you understand that you are not supervised by the Instructor.
I aim to teach exercises that are interesting and challenging in some way, rather than following a particular school of reformer teaching. This includes a mix of contrology and other historical reformer, classical, contemporary and anything else that looks fun!
If you hate doing an exercise or it’s just not for you today, do one of your favourites instead. I’d love to see you make these choices and it will help me learn your preferences. As your fitness and motor skills improve, you may fancy having a go at an exercise you previously hated. But you may not – both choices are excellent strategies for loving your exercise time and finding your own way on the reformer.
Feel empowered to work at your own pace, in a way that suits your individual body. If you want to rest – take a break, get water, pop out or leave – do it!
We will always offer various options for making an exercise easier or harder – we encourage you to think about what works best for you at this moment.
I will help you learn how to work your body in multiple different ways on the reformer, but I don’t typically offer alignment corrections or try and direct micro changes in your form. Our bodies are all different and straight isn’t necessarily better – I do not aim to teach an aesthetic discipline.
